Now this is an antipasti plate!
Black pasta with prawns and arugula. This place is right next door to our airbnb in Plaza Massena and I have to say, it surprised me. I have been a bit underwhelmed by the food on this trip...my fault. I think my "chip" is defective or something. But this dish...wow. Perfection! And we weren't even trying.
This is Maria, my Nice airbnb friend. She and Alice went to school together in bangkok. She's a lawyer for Homeland security in NY and we've been having fun, despite the fact that we both HATE any weather over 75 degrees.
We also went to the Matisse museum, then picked out a perfect wedding present for Alice...will post it tomorrow, on the big wedding day. Tomorrow's pictures should be amazing so stay tuned...but for now Matisse:
